Following up on a recent blog, I’m pleased to share that two public service announcements developed for our Arizona Smokers Helpline (ASHLine) won Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards over the weekend.
“The Run,” produced by True Story Films, won in the Single Spot Commercial category. “Milestones,” produced by Matter Films and OH Partners, won for Health/Medical Content.
Both PSAs, inspired by focus group feedback from current and former smokers, promote the positives of ending nicotine dependence. They direct viewers to contact ASHLine to be connected with a quit coach for cessation counseling and to receive nicotine replacement therapy to support their quit journeys.
All of the PSA materials are available for download for free by county health departments and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) medical plans to help connect people with the Arizona Smokers Helpline.
The biggest win for our ASHLine is when someone decides to live free from nicotine dependence. But these Rocky Mountain Emmy wins are much-deserved recognition for our partners, the ASHLine team, and ADHS Communications.
