Loan Repayment ProgramAre you a primary care health professional serving in an underserved Arizona community? If so, you may be eligible for the Arizona State Loan Repayment Program

To promote the availability of health care in designated Health Professional Shortage Areas of Arizona, this program provides loan repayment assistance to professionals who provide outpatient primary care services in these areas for a minimum of two years.

Launched in 2005, the Arizona State Loan Repayment Program has helped hundreds of health professionals serving in underserved areas. This list includes dentists, pharmacists, behavioral health providers, and certified nurse midwives, in addition to physicians, physician assistants, and registered nurse practitioners.

Time is of the essence if you wish to apply, as applications are due by June 1. The provider and site administrator must complete all application sections by that date.

Those interested should review the Provider Application and Program Guide and then sign up for and access the Primary Care Office Portal.
