Early this morning the computer data center that we use for ADHS programs lost power.  When this happens, all those systems like the birth and death certificate system, the Women, Infant and Children’s system and the medical marijuana system are not available until the power is restored and we can bring them back online.   Fixing the power source is often the easy part of this situation, we regained that this morning and began the complicated process of safely bringing all the systems back online. 
 
This is not the first time we’ve had this issue this summer and I understand how disruptive these outages have been.  We’re working on a contingency plan to have server redundancy to keep this from happening in the future.
