In August, we celebrated National Breastfeeding Month along with countless others across the nation. All year long we focus our efforts on sharing evidence-based breastfeeding education and resources with families and the professionals who support them.

You can find a wealth of information on our ADHS breastfeeding support website at GoBreastmilk.org. There, we answer questions for a wide range of audiences tailored for unique situations.

If you have questions about breastfeeding, the Arizona Breastfeeding Hotline (1-800-833-4642) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. The hotline is available in English and Spanish and can also serve those who speak other languages.

For families and those interested in breastfeeding, First Feed is a weekly, virtual breastfeeding education and support group that is open to the public.

We want those who breastfeed to feel supported. That’s why we provide training and resources for the professionals that work directly with families and support those who want to breastfeed.
