Like many people, you may be making your health a priority in the new year. Did you know that being physically active can help you increase your chances to live longer, feel better about yourself, decrease your chances of becoming depressed, sleep well at night, and stay at or get to a healthy weight?
Adding activity into your day is a great idea. Adults should aim for at least two and a half hours or 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week. Every little bit adds up, and doing something is better than doing nothing. Most importantly you should have fun while being active. Be sure to strength train for healthy muscles and bones. Do strengthening activities at least twice a week. Activities that build strength include lifting weights, doing push-ups and sit-ups, working with resistance bands, or heavy gardening.

Excellent video. I made it my New Year resolution to exercise more often and eat healthier food. Before i thought that I had to spend 1 hour in the gym every day and that really did not help me a bit. I felt overwhelmed and guilty that with my hectic life style I could not spend 1 hour each day. Therefore, I stooped altogether. However, now I understand that every little bit counts. Taking stairs instead of elevator, taking a break from work and walk for 15 minutes, etc. These things really add up and I feel and look much healthier now.
Thanks for great video and wonderful tips
