About Martin Celaya
Dr. Martín F. Celaya is the Bureau Chief for Assessment and Evaluation in the Division of Prevention Services at the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). Dr. Celaya has been a part of the ADHS team since 2017 and has more than 15 years of experience in local, state, federal, and academic public health. Dr. Celaya leads all program evaluation and epidemiological efforts in maternal and child health, chronic disease, injury and violence, and other non-communicable areas of concern in the state. He leads the Bureau of Assessment and Evaluation, which encompasses the Data Management Team, the Fatality Review Office, the Population Survey Office, and the Prevention Epidemiology and Evaluation Team.
Dr. Celaya holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Health Policy and Management and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Maternal and Child Health degree with a doctoral minor in Epidemiology from the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
