About Katherine Fullerton

Katherine Fullerton began her public health journey in 2020 at the Arizona State Public Health Laboratory (ASPHL), where she worked as a Public Health Scientist, conducting clinical and diagnostic testing of microbial agents for the people of Arizona. After completing her master's degree, she returned to ASPHL in 2023 as the Newborn Screening Educator. In this role, Katherine leads statewide initiatives to raise awareness and educate others about Arizona's newborn screening program, while also offering valuable support to program submitters.
