About Joli Weiss

Dr. Joli Weiss is the Office Chief for Infectious Disease Control at the Arizona Department of Health Services. Dr. Weiss received her PhD in Epidemiology and Community Health from the University at Buffalo. She joined ADHS in 2007 as the Foodborne Disease Epidemiologist and also served as the Outbreak Capacity and Disaster Epidemiologist. During her tenure at ADHS, Dr. Weiss has also served as the Program Manager for the Food/Waterborne Disease and Wastewater Surveillance, Preparedness Epidemiology and the Vector/Zoonotic Disease Programs. Dr. Weiss also serves as the Chair of the annual Arizona Infectious Disease Training and Exercise.
